The Patrick Shifflett Foundation hosted the first annual Patrick Shifflett Memorial Baseball Tournament. We kicked off the tournament with an uncharacteristically beautiful March day that set the tone for the successful weekend. The tournament featured 64 teams ages 9U – 14U from Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia. To honor Patrick’s memory, each coach was asked to present the Patrick Shifflett Character Coin to the player that best represented the character, courage, determination, and sportsmanship that Patrick showed both on and off the field.
