Cornhole Tournament
We celebrated our 6th annual Patrick Shifflett Cornhole Tournament on September 3rd at the beautiful fields of Butler’s Orchard. Over 200 people came to play cornhole, eat delicious food, enjoy music, and connect with those in our community that support the causes of our Foundation. Special thanks to Allied Event Solutions for keeping players and diners cool under huge tents. We’re always grateful for amazing food and drinks from GrillMarx (thanks to chef Doug Kellner and bartender Carlos Hickman) and great entertainment from Burt the Dirt band and Good Vibrations DJ. We love our new spot at Butler’s Orchard and appreciate all the help and support from the staff and owners there.
This year’s big winners were Dwayne Britton and Nick Shifflett, with Rodney Hemingway and David Kitts coming in second. But the true winners are all the loving participants and volunteers who get to spend a day together to remember our sweet Patrick.
