2022 Holiday Giving

Thanksgiving and Christmas Giving

This year’s Thanksgiving and Christmas giving was a HUGE success! We were blessed to make the
holidays a little brighter for 27 local families who were in need of food for their tables and gifts for their children. Special shoutouts to Jackie Baker-Nees and Doug Kellner at GrillMarx UMD for generously donating turkeys and hams for all the families, as well as Shannon, Porter, Corinne, Caroline, and Sophie for shopping, wrapping and family outreach.

Food Drive

For the 5th year in a row, we collected canned foods at the Damascus Safeway in early November, allowing us to fill many bins in our holiday giving programs. A special thank you to Ed Tippett for making this possible
