Hurricane Relief
The Patrick Shifflett Foundation, when given the opportunity, couldn’t help but donate to Hurricane Harvey Relief to help the people of Houston rebuild their lives. Our hearts continue to be with all who were affected by the tragedy and we hope we were able to make even the smallest difference.
The following letter is from Difference Makers Church, who helped our donation reach the correct hands.
Dear Patrick Shifflett Foundation,
I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for rallying to the support of those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Thanks to your generous financial support, we were able to ship approximately 75 tons of much needed relief aid into Houston.
We were also able to be of immediate assistance during the flood as we helped evacuate victims of the storm.
Your financial generosity came in excess of what we needed to ship the relief aid, and we are able to continue to be a source of relief to those still struggling to rebuild. You will be happy to know that in the wake of your generosity and the example that you set, we used our grounds as a rally point for relief aid going to Puerto Rico as well, and we are continuing to seek God as to what part He would have us play in these critical times.
