The First Annual Patrick Shifflett Golf Invitational was a huge success! It was a stunningly beautiful day at Worthington Manor in Urbana, Maryland, where 128 golfers gathered on Monday, October 2nd. Our special guest, Hall of Famer John Riggins made his way around the course all morning, shaking hands and taking pictures with each foursome. Throughout the course, players tried for hole-in-one competitions and putting contests. While no one won the head-turning Chevy Corvette, some good golf was played and all participants had a great time. After the round was over, the group met at the clubhouse for lunch, spectacular raffle prizes and a silent auction. We all had Patrick in our hearts that day and were proud that we would be able to help so many in need by raising over $42,000. Thank you to all who were there to support our cause and see you again at our next event.
